Under Eng Liang Tan’s guidance, Soho Global Heath has grown from being a family company into one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Southeast Asia.

Eng Liang Tan graduated from University of Bochum, Germany with a major in Nuclear Physics, and from the Business Management School in University of Bradford, United Kingdom. His long career includes experience with ICI Pharmaceutical Division (now Astra Zeneca), Warner Lambert Inc. (now Pfizer Inc.) and Beecham (now GSK).

Nigel established Flordis Pty Ltd in 2001 to meet consumer demand for natural healthcare products backed by clinical research. Following the success and growth of Flordis, Nigel went on to establish Soho Flordis International with Mr Eng Liang Tan and share its growing portfolio of natural healthcare products with the world.

Nigel holds an honours degree in Biochemistry and post graduate Marketing and International Director qualifications. He established his career in sales, international marketing and business development in the pharmaceutical industry in Europe and Australia.

Joseph Kestemont

Joseph acts now as a board member and consultant for a diverse range of industries. He has been a career banker and has held executive roles in Belgium, Asia, Australia and the UK for BBL and ING. From the late 80's until 2007, Joseph was the UK country and Asia-wide CEO of these banking entities. He also held several non-executive board positions in financial related companies. He ended his banking career as Head of ING VYSYA, a publicly listed bank in India.

Joseph holdes a Master's degree in Macro-economics form the University of Leuven (KUL) and a SMP from Insead, Paris. He began his career as a Research Fellow at the University of Leuven specialising in Foreign District Investments and prior to embarking his banking career, he was a Sales Manager at P&G.

 

David Ebsworth

David recently retired as CEO of Galenica AG and its subsidiary Vifor Pharma Ltd, and joined SFI’s Board following its acquisition of Potter’s Herbals. Prior to this, David has served as CEO of Oxford Glycosciences PLC and as Head of Pharma Business at Bayer AG. In addition, David has served as Chairman and Board member for a number of companies based in the US, Germany, Austria, Italy, Netherlands, UK and Japan. David is also currently Chairman of Verona Pharma PLC, a drug development company listed on the London AIM market.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and German as well as a PhD in comparative Industrial Relations from the University of Surrey, where he is also a visiting Professor at the University of Surrey’s Business School.

Robert Hendriks

Robert has successfully managed local and global sales and marketing functions and led a number of international organisations for Organon and Genzyme. In his career that spans over 20 years he developed experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices and natural medicines industries.

Robert graduated as medical doctor from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands and holds an MBA from the Erasmus University, Netherlands. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors

 

 

 

 

Michael Clark

General Manager EMEA

Michael has over 20 years’ experience within the healthcare sector. Having qualified with SmithKline Beecham (GSK) as a management accountant (ACIMA), he then furthered his career in various commercial roles before heading up a regional GSK business based in Morocco.

Prior to joining SFI, Michael was the managing director of Global Leveregg where, over the past decade, he successfully built sustainable commercial businesses for multinational pharmaceutical clients in developing markets.

Pier-Francesco Campanini

Francesco’s career includes operations, corporate and international roles in Research & Development, Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance in a number of companies in Italy and Switzerland.

Francesco has a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Technology, with specialisation in Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamics.

Michele Genovesi

Michele led the spin-off of Ginsana SA from Pharmaton SA and the rebranding of the Ginsana product portfolio in 2009. He managed its integration into the SFI Group in 2013, whilst also expanding the company’s market reach and brand equity. Michele’s career includes roles within corporate and operative areas through general management, supply chain, customer relations, and M&A across Italy, Germany and Switzerland.

Michele gained a doctorate in Business Administration specialising in Controlling and Finance.

 

Greg Maguire

Chief Financial Officer

Greg started with Flordis Australia as Finance Director in 2012 before moving into the role of SFI Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Flordis Australia, Greg enjoyed a well-established career in FMCG industry and has also had experience in the IT industry and the biotech industry, where he was a member of the CFO’s forum of AusBiotech. 

Greg is a CPA member and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) along with a Masters in Business Administration. 

Arvinder Grover

With over 15 years’ experience both locally and internationally, Arvinder oversees SFI’s People Management Strategy; focused on developing the talent and leadership needed to foster innovation and drive sustainable growth. A key area of focus for Arvinder is harnessing SFI’s capabilities and knowledge globally, while ensuring strong local teams to successfully deliver the business strategy and facilitating cultural change.

Arvinder holds a degree in HR Management and a PG Diploma in Business Management.
