Production Manager
The Production Manager will manage and coordinate the Manufacturing and Maintenance team based in Switzerland, to ensure a proper management of production, packaging, logistic and maintenance processes with the aim of guarantee efficiency and optimization of SFI Health Supply Chain model.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Plan, lead, organize and control the manufacturing activities of the Switzerland site in order to achieve the required production volumes, defined by the sales budget, guaranteeing quality and meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with Engineering and Process Technology to ensure production capacities, define the technical and organizational developments allowing the achievement of the general objectives of the site
- Coordinate manufacturing operations in accordance with applicable operating procedures, GMP and hygiene standards
- Ensure Quality Management Systems and procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to ensure that the manufacturing infrastructure is continuously maintained in an efficient and safe condition
- Continuous management, monitoring, development and improvement of processes to ensure consistent and successful maintenance and manufacturing service delivery
- Define Manufacturing and Maintenance strategies, guidelines, objectives, controlling the implementation
- Introduce and control the cost indicators and cost control of Maintenance in accordance with the annual budget
- Investigate and implement new technology to improve productivity, quality, cost and safety of operations and maintenance
- Guarantee the continuous improvement of production and logistic flows, accordingly with company objectives and established KPIs
- Contribute to new product development projects, existing ones and line extensions
Key Requirements and Skills :
- Minimum 8 years’ experience within of CDMO/Pharmaceutical/Food Production industry
- Demonstrable experience in Maintenance Management, Service Management or Engineering
- 5 years of Leadership experience
- Technical knowledge of EU GMP
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Excellent planning, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and effectively manage change
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver direction and motivation in an effective manner at all levels
Location of Position: The role will be based in our EMEA HQ near Lugano, Switzerland
